In 2023, Second Baptist Church entered into a partnership with Iglesia Bautista Bethania (Bethania Baptist Church), located in the Santa Rosita community of Guatemala City, Guatemala. Since the earliest moments of this partnership, Bethania has requested assistance in planting a new church in another community that did not have a strong evangelical church. God has worked through this partnership to raise up a church plant in the community of San Gaspar that is scheduled to begin having services in the fall of 2026. This partnership is nearing its end, but there may still be opportunities to serve.
