Second Baptist Church partners with the organization, Mission 615, to reach the underprivileged and homeless of the Nashville Metropolitan Area with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Every Saturday, Mission 615 either goes to government housing communities and ministers through children’s activities and food provision, or goes to homeless encampments and provides food and essentials. All of this is done while sharing the love of Jesus in word and deed. SBC teams will join Mission 615 multiple Saturdays each year. The close proximity of Nashville allows these teams to leave on Saturday morning, serve throughout the day, and return to Union City Saturday evening.
