As a ministry of Second Baptist Church, SBC Preschool operates within the church’s facilities, utilizing the new Joy Wing. The church made the decision to build a completely new facility for the purpose of the preschool. The 15,500 square ft. building has been developed to meet the highest standards for childcare.
HOW MANY CHILDREN DOES THE PRESCHOOL SERVE?
We will be licensed to serve up to 99 children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF OPERATION?
The program will run year-round, Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
WHAT POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR EMPLOYMENT IN THE PRESCHOOL AND HOW DO I APPLY?
We are currently in the process of accepting applications for: Director, Assistant teachers, and Substitutes. If you would like to apply: please see job descriptions below and then click on application link to print. This can be filled out and emailed to preschool@secondbaptistuc.com or you may drop it by the Preschool office at your convenience.
HOW CAN I JOIN A WAITLIST ENROLLMENT?
If you would like to add your child/children to the list for consideration, please click on the WAITLIST REGISTRATION BUTTON below and complete a registration form for each child you wish to add to the waitlist. Completion of the form is not a guarantee for admission. Applications will be processed by date received and priority.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
$36 per day for children under 2 years old and $35 per day for over 2 years old. This is a non-profit ministry and is not designed as an income stream for the church. All income is utilized to provide quality teachers, facilities and programming for your child and family.
WHAT SERVICES DO WE OFFER?
Our program will carefully consider each child’s individual developmental needs and incorporate these levels into group activities personalized to their abilities. Our children will be engaged in educational age-appropriate hands-on activities, with Biblical principles and early learning standards as our guides, socialization opportunities, outdoor activities, scheduled rest time, and a nutritious meal service (breakfast, morning snack, and lunch) per CACFP requirements. We offer both full-time and part-time enrollment options.
